I ordered a Reuben with a side of potato salad. The sandwich was a good size and juicy. The potato salad was pretty good too and had sausage in it. The mustard sauce it comes with was also gas.

Southern California is slim on non taco lunch foods. This place warmed my heart - had a delicious sandwich on rye w/ sauerkraut & mustard.

This place is AMAZING! Stopped by for lunch today and they were quick getting my meal out. Ordered the kielbasa on the pretzel roll - it was phenomenal. The service was great! Not in the area often, but will definitely return for another but when I am!

My boyfriend and I were visiting Big Bear for the day and we wanted something light since we were having a late lunch. He originally thought we should go to 7 Eleven to grab a couple of hotdogs and a drink, but realized we would have to eat in the car. I happened to find the Old German Deli on yelp and saw it was not far from the 7 Eleven. All it took was for me to mention bratwurst and sauerkraut for him to be all in. It is a nice little shop. When we walked in the first thing I noticed were the little imported snacks and drinks. We both ordered the cheddar bratwurst, but he got the potato salad and I got the potato soup. I tried the sauerkraut and not a fan, but my boyfriend loved it and happily ate mine and his. I'm not a fan of mustard, but the sauce that came with the food was delicious. The potato soup was different from what I'm used to, but it was good. My boyfriend really liked his potato salad. All in all it was a good lunch before our drive back down the mountain. We'll be back for sure.
